Your financial freedom is entirely your own decision.
Sometimes it feels hard to take the leap, yet we know there is another way to earn an income, to live and to learn. If others are already doing it… why couldn't you?
You can keep searching for information online, but you'll have no guarantee that it's accurate, you won't know who's behind it, and you'll still be on your own.
I am 40 years old and the mother of two little ones.
I studied Special Education Teaching and moved to Zürich. After two years working in a nursery there, I ended up in Madrid. Three years, three schools, three neighbourhoods, three lives. There I felt it necessary to study English Teaching and my C1.I then returned to my home region and worked for 10 years at a state-funded school in various roles and positions.
During that period I studied a Primary Education Degree with a specialisation in Music, a Master's in School Management and Leadership, and another Master's in Educational Coaching. I also began a Doctorate related to Emotional Education, but I became pregnant and didn't have the energy for it all, so I've put it on hold until my children are older and I can pick it up again.
In 2020, with everything that happened, combined with my new motherhood, I realised I had spent my entire career trying to change the education system — and it was still exactly the same.
Families began coming to me wanting help creating educational plans, and that was how my connection with education outside the system began. Little by little I started training and learning more, and I fell in love with self-directed learning. Also, as a mother, I saw — and still see — how my children learn on their own; they simply need to be listened to with heart and attention so they can be given what they ask for.
I now work at two online universities and have founded a school to support families who wish to educate in a personalised way, outside the mainstream education system.
I also dedicate myself to helping families reinvent themselves professionally to generate income from home or from wherever they choose. It is a dream I achieved myself, and it gives me great satisfaction to see other families achieve it too.
I have supported and continue to support many families through this process, each with completely different circumstances, but they all have one thing in common: they all put their children's education above everything else. If you've made it this far, it's because you are one of them. And for that reason, and that reason alone, you too can reinvent yourself professionally.
