At Hannah IS, we apply the educational methodologies required to support each of our families. We regard children as our greatest teachers. They have their own answers, and we are here to guide them and support them in finding their own path. We know that every person is unique and learns in their own way, as well as having different tastes and paces. Our role is to adapt to each individual and provide them with the tools they need to achieve their own goals.
About Hannah IS
Hannah IS’s vision is to provide a high-quality education that is in step with the times. In other words, to completely overturn the notion—inherited from our history with traditional schooling—that children learn simply by being taught. If we want to raise adults who are critical thinkers and able to adapt to any situation, we must educate them by providing tools that teach them how to think, rather than what to think. Our aim is to regulate independent education in countries where it is not currently regulated.
Hannah IS's mission is to provide an education that respects children's rhythms and interests. In other words, we will offer children tools without forcing them, without insisting, and without obligating them or telling them things that don't interest them. We offer comprehensive education, discussing any topic that arises, blending cultures, religions, and feelings. Our motto is respect for oneself and for others.
Hannah IS's values are freedom, respect, honesty and transparency. They represent our compass as we accompany families. Essentially, they determine the way we work and relate to children, families, mentors, and everyone who is part of this project.

2020
The Beginning
Ana, la fundadora, se convierte en madre por primera vez. Tras 15 años dentro del sistema educativo, su maternidad coincide con una situación social que le hace plantearse la educación que quiere dar a sus hijos. La educación libre y el homeschooling llega a ella sin escogerlo y, sin saberlo, empiezan a formarse los cimientos de lo que será Hannah IS.
2021
Programas pedagógicos
Ana empieza a acompañar a familias que deciden no llevar a sus hijos al colegio. Les ayuda a redactar sus programas educativos individualizados y les guía en todo el proceso educativo.
2022
Nacen los círculos de aprendizaje
Tras varios meses de negociaciones con una escuela online, en agosto, una madre le sugiere crear su propia escuela y aunque le suena a locura, en septiembre inicia la búsqueda de un equipo para ello. En octubre nacen los círculos de aprendizaje.

The online school is founded
Se fusionan las herramientas que Ana venía ofreciendo y, junto con los círculos de aprendizaje, se crea la escuela online con muchas herramientas que ayudan a las familias que educan en casa. Se realizan colaboraciones con profesionales afines para poder cubrir las necesidades de las familias de Hannah IS.

What content is covered in the Learning Circles?
Los contenidos se trabajan en función de lo que va surgiendo, por lo que no se saben con anterioridad. A final de trimestre, pasamos a las familias un informe de todos los contenidos que se han ido trabajando a lo largo de los círculos.
What methodology is used?
We use a personalised methodology. We listen to and understand the participants' interests, allowing them to explore whatever sparks their curiosity.
How do the English classes work?
Las clases de inglés son online con un profesor y máximo con 3 alumnos. Duran 30 minutos y luego se sigue trabajando en la app con ejercicios, actividades y juegos. Se puede elegir la fecha y hora en cada clase, pudiendo anular hasta 1 minuto antes de la clase y recuperándola en el siguiente mes. El aprendizaje se recoge en una base de datos para ofrecer solo el contenido no adquirido, acelerando así el aprendizaje.
What is mentoring/support?
Mentoring sessions address any topic related to education, family organisation, or anything that helps the family in their educational role. As many sessions are held as the family needs, for as long as required.
Is Hannah IS an official school?
Si, desde Enero del 2025, Hannah IS es una escuela privada registrada en el departamento de educación de Florida, con código 2932.
Is home education legal?
