Learning Circles
Its aim is to provide participants with a space to share curiosities and offer them guidance so that they can find the answers themselves.
The spaces are available from Monday to Thursday during morning and afternoon hours (mainland Spain time).
They are divided into three age groups, although maturity is taken into account. Likewise, each stage has different Circles associated with it, since we believe that the time they need to sit and pay attention should be appropriate to their age/maturity.
The following stages are guidelines. We don't base our decisions on age, but rather on the children's maturity. They may move to the next stage earlier or later, depending on the assessment made by the family, school, and child.
We don't have pre-established content; we don't work with a curriculum because we listen to individual needs and adapt daily to each child's pace and interests. We consider it essential that families are informed about what has been covered, so we provide a list of content at the end of each term.
Stars
From 5 to 7 years old
A daily circle (Monday to Thursday). Depending on what the child has already learned, it will be determined whether it is appropriate to be in one group or another.
- Playing with Words: from 13:00 to 13:50
- Growing with Words: from 12:00 to 12:50
The little ones learn or reinforce letters and numbers, begin or deepen reading and writing, sing, dance, share and have fun.
Sun
From 8 to 12 years old
Two circles daily (Monday to Thursday). You can choose one, two, three, or all four.
- Self-Knowledge and Personal Development: from 10:00 to 10:50 (Monday and Tuesday)
- Traveling the World: from 11:00 to 11:50 (Monday and Tuesday)
- The World through Art: from 10:00 to 10:50 (Wednesday and Thursday)
- Discovering Science: from 11:00 to 11:50 (Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Through these topics, the facilitators listen to and feel the participants and offer them tools to learn about what causes them curiosity and motivation.
Moon
Ages 13 to 17
Four daily circles (Monday to Thursday). You can choose one, two, three, or all four.
- Discovering Science: from 10:00 to 10:50
- Self-Knowledge and Personal Development: from 11:00 to 11:50
- Traveling the World: from 12:00 to 12:50
- The World Through Art: from 13:00 to 13:50
These topics help them choose subjects they like, and the companions guide them in the process of learning and personal and maturational growth.
