The founder of Hannah IS was looking for a thesis supervisor to resume her doctorate when, while browsing the internet, she came across some Family Education Congresses. How wonderful!

She wrote to each of the speakers and all the members of the organising committee. Some replied, others didn't. But one response set a process in motion. Don José invited her to stop by his office. Without knowing why or what for, she showed up.

From that meeting came the decision to revive these Congresses. And so they got to work. Many meetings, invitations and hard work, all with a clear purpose: to raise the visibility of homeschooling as a valid educational option and to bring in experts and academics who could speak about its benefits with knowledge and experience.

Someone outside the organisation had the brilliant idea of having it all professionally recorded, but for reasons beyond their control, it wasn't possible. What a shame! How could all this valuable information be allowed to disappear?

And so Hannah IS decided to record it themselves, with the sole purpose of sharing it and making sure this knowledge reaches as many people as possible.

Now, once those costs have been recovered, the 4th Homeschooling Congress is open to everyone, so that this information can be shared as widely as possible.
